| Oh hi! I am a new member to this forum! First of all I would like to say that the person who owns/runs/operates Smoky Mountain Concessions LLC. and all those other shady websites is not very professional. He will try to sell you a very expensive concession trailer and then go MIA for weeks while you continue to lose money and revenues that you would have gained. If you are looking to buy a great concession trailer, such as a espresso drivethru or a barbecue stand or one of the five m ... |
| Hello Everyone! |
Greetings!
I am a full time accountant and a part time concession owner. I have a trailer that I purchased to participate in renaissance faires, mostly in Michigan. I started out with just shaved ice and drinks and have expanded to meet demand. I now serve hot dogs, brats, fries, chili, sloppy joes, shaved ice, and elephant ears. I was looking for people to chat with, share experiences, and share information with.
I am glad to meet everyone and hope the board takes off!

| Hi |
This is exactly what I've been looking for. Too bad there aren't more people here.
I am starting a food vending business and this will be my first season. I guess I am doing things the hard way - not using a trailor or any of the turn-key products. I hope to sell wok fried donuts and fresh brewed coffee to start. I purchased the 50 state code guide and hopefully it will answer some of my immediate questions.
Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Also I need a NAME!!! |
| Where do I start?? |
| My dream is to open up an espresso drive thru in my home town. I have a site in mind and from what I understand the town is very eager to introduce and expand more businesses. I want to set up meeting with landlord to rent space in a parking lot that houses a dollar store and church. Any ideas on what to bring to the table when I meet with him? I'm thinking photos of sample buildings, pics of another one in our area with menu to explain the vision that I have of my business, income possibilities ... |

| Smoky Mountain Concessions LLC Prices |
It saddens me to have to do this but I have put it off as long as possible. As of March 1, 2008 We will have to raise our prices 5% on our concession trailers. We have maintained our same prices for several years. It looks like we are going to have to go up a little do to high steel and general inflation.
That being said we will still maintain our lowest price online mission. If you find a lower price anywhere online or in the real world we will beat it. Plus we go that extrsa mile to ... |

| Hello |
Hi, wow, pretty quiet here, but it is a great idea and could be pretty useful once it gets it's legs.
I have done fair and festival vending in one form or another for 25 years and am currently selling honey and honey products while gearing up to do full-time food concessions to supplement a gov retirement pension.
Looking for plans to build a concession trailer when I found this forum in fact! Hope to see some good conversation here soon....
